Epoxy Quartz Floors

Epoxy Quartz Floors
The quartz system is made up of a mix of colored (quartz) sands blended in epoxy. The mixed sands and epoxy are either troweled down or the mixed dry sands are broadcast onto the wet epoxy already applied on the floor. This flooring system is the usual choice for veterinary practices, operating rooms, restaurant kitchens, public restrooms, etc. since it is decorative yet incredibly durable. The colored quartz sands can be mixed in an endless array in order to coordinate with any decor. The top coat can be of urethane; a chemical resistant coating; anti-microbial; Elastomeric; or static conductive.
Shop Floors

Shop Floors
For a clean warehouse look or for exceptional dust control, these systems are an economical solution. These coating systems are ideal for heavy traffic areas, and can be installed over new or old concrete, and plywood. This self-leveling system comes in a wide variety of pigments, or clear. The top coat can be of urethane; a chemical resistant coating; anti-microbial; Elastomeric; or static conductive. This system is more sanitary because it is seamless. There are not cracks or grout lines to breed bacteria. The usual choice for warehouses, factories, assembly plants, manufacturing plants, etc
Shot Blasting

Shot Blasting
This surface preparation method removes paint, mastic, adhesives, oil, grease, urethane sealers and epoxy. It is the most effective way (better than acid etching) to insure a maximum bond between the cement and seal coats. Shot blasting is similar to sand blasting, but uses small steel ball bearings to remove the contaminant. A 1000 pound vacuum instantly captures the dust and debris, making this process nearly dust-free. Shot blasting eliminates the need for acids, alkalies, prep. soap and degreasers. It keeps the surface dry and speeds up installation of new surfaces. York Flooring owns several pieces of shot blasting equipment, therefore, we don’t have to hire someone else to accomplish this very important part of our flooring system preparation.
Rubber Floors

Interior/Exterior Rubber Floors Systems
Providing a waterproof coating, ideal for high traffic areas, ski areas and beach decks. It is durable, flexible and decorative. Unlike sheet rubber exterior systems, there is no need for wood planking for foot traffic. Seven years of ski boot traffic has not sufficiently damaged our installation of this system. With this system, we trowel down a rubber resin, broadcast dry rubber granules into the wet resin, then top coat with a pigmented urethane.
